Study On Internationalizing Strategy Of Chinese Herbal Medicine And Good Laboratory Practice

Internationalization is the inevitable trend of the development of Chinese herbal medicine, which needs to do many things. Among the three fundamental features of medicine, i.e., safety, validity, and controllability, "safety" must be assured firstly. But safety estimating has been the obstacle of international procedure of Chinese herbal medicine. As a result, standardizing safety estimation has become the most important task for the whole medicine field to solve. Safety is a pivot relating the Chinese medicine to the whole world, and is the problem that must be solved on the way devoting to the health of the whole mankind.This thesis studies the internationalizing strategy of Chinese herbal medicine, Good Laboratory Practice(GLP), and their relationship; points out the defect of GLP; and proposes some necessary suggestion and effective measures to improve it , which will undoubtedly accelerate the internationalizing process of Chinese medicine.
