Study On Quality Criteria Of Water-Soluble Constituents Of Radix Astragali In Xinjikang Injection

Xinjikang Injection is an effective preparation to cure viral myocarditis(VCM). It consists of ingredients of Radix Salvia and Radix Astragali. The total saponin and total flavonind are active compounds in Radix Astragali. So the Astragaloside Ⅳ (AGS Ⅳ ) should not be the only index to assess its quality and satisfy the demand for fingerprint chromatography of TCM injection .According to the request strictly, the fingerprints of every ten batches of Xinjikang Injection, Radix Astragali and the substances were set up by HPLC of gradation technology. It proved this method was easy, convenient and could be repeated simply. The studies are useful for the quality control of Radix Astragali and its injection. Furthermore, The similarity of the fingerprint chromatography about Xinjikang Injection, Radix Astragali and the substance of Xinjikang Injection are all above 99%. It proved the fingerprints were stable and practical.On the basic of this, AGSⅣ, onion, 9, 10-dimethoxy-pterocarpan-3- β -D-glucopyranoside, 2 ' -hydroxy-3 ' , 4 ' -dimethoxy- isoflavan-7-O- 3 -D-glucopyranoside having the highest amounts in Radix Astragali a were used as index contents. The chromatography peaks of Xinjikang Injection, the substance of Xinjikang Injection and Radix Salvia miltiorrhizairrhiza were identified and analyzed quantitatively. So it gives information for the quality assessment on Xinjikang Injection.
