Following the progress in our society, the quicken life step andthe various increased pressure, the prevalence rate of primaryhypertension becomes higher step by step. Now it is noted that theincidence rate of angiocardiopathy increases attributing to theoverhigh blood pressure. And hypertension can also do harm to thesafety of our lives and the life quality.ANP, also known as atrial natriuretic peptide, is an extremelypopular nerve-endocrinologic hormone in the studies of the recent tenyears. It can be synthesized, stored and released in both myocardialcells and central nerve system. ANP plays wide, various roles inseveral locations of the heart-vascular system. The main physiologicalfunction of ANP is to diastolise the vascular smoothmuscle, decreasethe natruria and the periphal resistance. 1. ANP can restrain therennin-angiotensin-aldosterone axis. It also restrains the glomerulusfrom secreting and angiotensin from stimulating the secretion ofaldosterone. 2. ANP has plasma in circulation system transformed tothe interstitial space through increasing the water penetrating ofcapillary and the resistance post-capillary. Thus the blood volume isreduced. 3. ANP can reduce cardiac output by the means of nervereflex, especially decreasing the activity of sympathetic nerve in heart.4. By the means of constrain mycardial constraction action directly,ANP can reduce cardiac output. 5. In addition, ANP can make one'sblood pressure lower, whose mechanism includes blood vesselexpansion, diuresis, reducing the total blood volume and cardiacoutput. Because of the strong central monitoring role in theheart-vascular system, ANP is now become the focus in the study ofheart-vascular disease therapy. The pathogen and pathogenesis of hypertension remain poorlyunderstood. In recent gears, with the development of physiology, genetics, neuro-endocrinology and molecularbiology and the model ofspontaneously-hypertension rat (SHR) built, many researches havereached molecule level. At present, we consider that hypertensionresults from several factors that interacts one another, but not a singlefactor. The factors such as heredity, diet electrolyte andsocial-psycholgical strees, renal factors, neuroendocrine factors, andso on are proved to play various roles in the pathogenesis ofhypertension. The interaction of genes and environmental elementscause the occurrence of hypertension. During the cause of controllinghypertension, in our society various environmental elements havebeen payed enough attention to. At the same time, to explore thenature of the genes is of great importance in the process of conqueringhypertension completely. In our experiment, we transfer the recombinant hANP gene to theSHR. Then we examine its expression in SHR, influence on blood...
