Objective To study the evaluations of the different surgical operation in the treatment to serious cornea trauma. Methods Forty-eight patients (56 eyes) with serious cornea trauma were enrolled in this study. They were treated by total lamellar keratoplasty (LKP) , Penetrating Keratoplasty (PKP), amnion transplantation (ATP), combined operation by temporary artificial cornea. The changes of the visual acuity, the transplanted slice and operation complications were examined after operation. All these patients were visited 6-36 months. Results Visual acuity after operations increased significantly in these patients. The visual acuity of 44 eyes was increased and others were the same as before. Conclusion The surgical operation is a effective method for the serious cornea trauma.
