【Objective】To provide the effective material for prevention of peripheralnerve adhesion .【Methods】48 SD rats, whose sciatic nerve were cut and oversewed in anend-end way, were divided into 3 groups randomly. the anastomoticstoma was wrapped by PLGA film, PLGA+Chitosan film and notreatment were applied respectively. the speciments were observedunder naked eyes and light microscopes at 2,4,6,8 weeks afteroperation, electrophysiological examination was done at postoperative8 weeks .【Results】1. Morphological observation: the sense perception and movableand cankerous of the PLGA film and PLGA+Chitosan film groupsresume precede to the simple oversew group. The film disappearedafter the operation 4 weeks.2. Histology observation: the nerve was clarity with around tissuein the film groups. The nerve ectoblast film was lubricity. The rebirthnerve fibre was straighter in the film groups than the simple oversewgroup. The nerve ectoblast film was thick in the simple oversew group,the rebirth nerve fibre getting across was difficult.
