Objective After a study of the lung cancer cell and its thyroid factor-1(TTF-1) expression in the contracsted group, the authors endeavor to prove whether the results will become an important testing indecator for earlier diagnosing lung cancer or not. Method 99 lung cancer and 21 non-neoplastic lung tissue cases were collected from surgical resections. And tissue micro array combined with immunohis to chemistry was used to assess the TTF-1 expression in them. Then, in accordance with the percentage of reactive cells, we categorized tissue immunoreactivity for TTF-1 into 3 groups: negative(<1% stanining), weakly positive(1%~49% stanining), and strongly positive( ≥50% staining). Statistical analyses were performed, by using X~2-test.
