| [Objective] By way of analysis hMLH1, DNMT1, DNMT3A and DNMT3B genes' expression in human normal ovarian tissue and primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma, to study the relationships between these genes' expression in these tissue, to analyse their roles in the primary epithelial ovarian carcinogenesis and development.[Methods] Expression of DNMTl, DNMT3A, DNMT3B and hMLH1 in 42 cases of the primary epithelial ovarian carcinomas were examined by immunohistochemical method. The relationship between their expression and tumor's clinical-pathological features were analysed using a X~2 test.[Results] 1) Compared with the normal ovarian tissue , high expression of DNMT1, DNMT3A, DNMT3B was observed in primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma (X~2=34.46, 3.86, 14.75, respectively, P<0.005, p<0.05, P<0.005) ; 2) The positive rates of DNMTl was 90. 5%, the expression was significant related to clinical stage and pathological grade (X~2-7.52, 6.09, respectively, P<0.01, P<0.01) , the positive rate was lower in G1 grade and early stage carcinomas; 3) The positive rate of DNMT3A was 59.5%, positive expression did not related to the clinical-pathological features of the primary ovarian carcinomas (P>0.05); 4) The positive rate of DNMT3B was 76. 2%, positive expression was up-regulated significantly in the recurrent group(X~2=7.40 P<0.005) of the primary ovarian carcinoma. The expression had no relationships with pathological... |
