Objective To investigate neuropeptide( NPY ) and calcitionin gene-relatedpeptide( CGRP) in patient with PIH and normal pregnancies and to stady its clinical significance.Method Radio immunoassay and SABC ( Strept Avidin-Biotin Complex) are used to measure the levels of NPY and CGRP in 38 patients with PIH (14 preeclampsia mild , 13 severe and 11 eclampsia) and 32 normal pregnant women , and investigate the relation of NPY and CGRP levels to BPoResults 1. Plasma levels of NPY in PIH were higher than those in normal pregnant women,p<0.01, and there was great difference between eclampsia and preeclampsia , P < 0.05 2.
