A Study On The Aesthetic Incision At Excision Benign Breast Tumor

Objectives: We researched wheat her the aesthetics incision is superior to the tranditional radial incision or take the place of it by application of aesthetic incision using in excision benign breast tumor.Methods: Chose 52 cases diagnosised breast tumor, and divided them into 2 groups. One did the standard radial incision, the other did the aesthetic incision that is according to the disease condition to choose periareolar incision, anterior axillary line incision and submammcery fold incision. Write down the operating time, post operation complications, the degreee of incision cicatricial hyperplasia and the patient' s satification with incision.Results: Experiment indicated that: (1)There is no statistics differencebetween the 2 groups in operting time. P>0.05. (2)Aesthetic incision' s degreee of incision cicatricial hyperplasia is much lower than standard radial incision' s. P<0. 01. (3)The group which did the aesthetic incision was satisfied with the scar much lighter than another group' s. P<0. 01. (4)Complications of the aesthetic incision group was not higher than standard radial incision's.Conclusion: Aesthetic incision is superior to the radial incision and can be used in above all excision benign breast tumor. Patients are satisified with post operation outward appearance, The difficulty of operation does not improve. Post operation complications does not increase, too. Aesthetic incision is completely instead of the excision benign breast tumor.
