Abstract/Summary:
The analysis of ECG signal using wavelet transform has become the research hotspot recently. Wavelet transform possesses good localized feature of time and frequenecy, which overcomes the disadvantage of Fourier analysis. In our wavelet transform research, three parts have been focused on: the wavelet decomposition based on pseudo-frequency, the nonlinear detection using wavelet transform and the recognition of Ventricular Flutter and Fibrillation using wavelet subband combined signal.The software, ECG analysis and detection, has been developed using Visual C++ on the Windows 2000 platform. Allowing for real-time and synchronization, multithread and fiber have been applied in the software system. Meanwhile, the concept of "active object" has been introduced during the process of the object-oriented programming. Verified by the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database, it works stably and corretly.
