Objective: To analyze the clinical observations about amalgam post and core of endodontically treated molars.Materials and methods: 30 endodontically treated molars were restored with amalgam post and core technique. Recall the patients after 6 months and 12 months and evaluate their prognoses through clinical examination and X ray. Results: No movement, fracture, displacement are discovered, and X ray indicted that fitting between amalgam post and radicular inner wall is very well. Conclusion: Amalgam post and core technique is conservative in restoring molars for its curved root canal, big root furcation, C-shaped root canal and large pulp chamfer.
