Clinical Research On Long Teng Antihypertension Tablet (LTAT) Treating Hypertension And Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Objective: To observe the clinical effect and mechanism of LTAT to treat hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy on the base of traditional and modern theory.Methods: In 2 monthes ,20 cases as test group with LTAT were observed vs 15 cases with Enalaprol as control group. Results: LTAT has obvious effect on treating hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. Compared with control group , LTAT has the superior tendency for treating hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy with no statistical significance (P>0.05) .But on the aspects of eliminating symptoms restoring blood pressure circadian rhythm, correcting lipid disorder and reducing viscosity of blood,the test group is superior to the control one (P < 0.05) . In addition, the LTAT can decrease ET and increase NO in serum with accordingly heightening the ratio of NO/ET. Furthermore, LTAT can lower the activity of ACE and decrease Ang II therefore restrain circulatory and local RAS.Conclusion:The study approving the traditional theory about hypertension and destruction of target organs, shows that based on traditional theory treating hypertension systematically is the key to antihypertension and protecting target organs.
