| Objective To investigate the effect of neuromuscular pedicle transplantation in preventing the atrophy in denervated muscle. Methods 36 SD rats were used to establish the right side tibialis anterior muscle denervation model and long peroneal muscle neuromuscular pedicle were made as a treatment in 12 rats, another 12 rats were treatment by never shaf embedding,The remains for no treatment. Additional 12 rats were used as normal control. The 6th week and 12th week postoperatively, gait analysis, electromyogram, muscle wet weight, and muscle fiber cross-sectional area were examined to determine and compare the effect of operation.Result 6th weeks postoperatively, all the parameters tested of group A have significant different with group C(P<0.05)and most of them were superior to those of group B(P<0.05);12th week postoperatively, some of the parameters tested of group A have no significant different with group D(p>0.05),the others were superior to those of group C.Conclusions 1,Neuromuscular pedicle transplantation has the effect of preventing atrophy in denervated muscle; 2,The effect of neuromuscular pedicle transplantation were superior to those of never shaf embedding... |
