Methods: The expression of VEGF-C, LN-R and nm23 in 60 patients with laryngeal carcinoma and 9 patients with vocal polyps.were examined using immunohistochemical methods(SP).Results The expression of VEGF-C and LN-R was significantly higher in patients with lymphnode metastasis, than those without lymphnode metastasis (P<0.05).The results indicate that the expression of nm23 in patients without lymphnode metastis was significantly higher than those with lymphnode metastasis(P<0.05) .ConclusionLaryngeal carcinoma with VEGF-C,LN-R positive and nm23 negative expression is proneto occur cervical lymphnode metastasis. These results suggest that the nm23 VEGF-C and LN-R genes may play a role in the suppression of lymph node metastasis or disease progression in laryngeal cancer. And detection VEGF-C,LN-R and nm23 may be good predictors of metastasis and prognostic for laryngeal carcinoma. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Laryngeal Carcinoma, Lymph Nodes, Metastasis, VEGF-C, LN-R, nm23 | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
