Purpose. To study the difference and the significance of the distribution of lung cancer associated antigen in sera. Methods:By Western Blot method examining lung cancer associated antigen detected by monoclonal antibody N-35 in sera of fifity cases with malignant tumor , seventy-two cases who are healthy with two or three positive lung tumor markers, ninety-six cases who are healthy without positive lung tumor markers respectively. Results:The positve rate is 42%,2.77%,0% in the MTG,HGWLTM,HGNLTM respectively,There is statistical significance between MTG and HGWLTM,between MTG and HGNLTM(p < 0.01),not statistical significance between HGWLTM and HGNLTM(p > 0.05),the positive rate of lung cancer group is higher than the other malignant tumor group, but there is no statistical significane(p > 0.05) Conclusion:Lung cancer associated antigen detected by monoclonal antibody N-35 significantly exists in sera of malignant tumor cases, specially lung cancer cases, less exists in sera of health cases.
