| Clinical observe and experimental study have been made through using "ping xiao bao shi wan" to treat diabetic retinopathy. It shows that diabetic retinopathy is a Leading-blind eye disease which it is given rise to by many factors . Because its pathologic mechanism is Complicated . Today, There is still not a factor that can interpret Completely the mechanism. According to my clinical observation of many years, The pathologic mechanism's disorder that is produced by Hyper glycosemia , microcirculation obstacle that is set off by Hyper blood viscosity , the disorder of ET-NO affect retino microcirculation , tumor necrosis factor (TNFa) influent sugar and fat metabolise, etc . All of the above factors are related to forming the diabetes retinopathy . DR is complicated of diabetes mellitus . Its cause morbi and pathogenesis don't keep away extreme heat with yin asthenia.furthermore , Dry heat exhaust pi and Yin , Pulmonany asthenia can't lead blood to circulate . Yin asthenic don't fill vessel so as to leading to blood coagulation , liver hinder blood , kidney store essence . Lacking body fluid and blood . Pupilia lose nuitration . According to its pathogenesis character . I choose these traditional Chinese medicinal herbs which supplement qi and nourish Yin. promoting blood circulation to remove meridian obstruction and nourish liver and kidney . Which consist "ping xiao bao shi wan". Curative effect show that this medicine can enhance obviously sight, reduce blood sugar and improve retino blood circulation, P<0.05, P<0.01, Experiment study proves that ET-NO/NOS of model mouses that have been prevented and cured by ping xiao bao shi wan can be improved so as to setting balance . It is obviously said that this medicine can prevent diabetes retinopathy from producing and developing . It deserves study further.
