The pathogeny of periodontal diseases is very complex. Many scholars thought they were aroused by non-specific bacterial infect in foerpart.Lately a great lot of researches have proved that plaque is unhomogeneous.Some anaerobic bacteria and their exterior substance of menbrane (SAM) were the primary factor.Therefore another scholars thought that periodontal diseases were caused by specific bacteria.The pathogeny was not only relevant with the toxicity of dominant bacteria but also with immunity system of organism.After infected by nosogenetic factors ,organism released a lot of immune globins to lick up and eliminate them.And at the same time the immune globins , SAM and some periodontal components can form compound,and this compound can activate alexin and the activated alexin have the function of producing alexin-depended cytotoxin and the cytotxin would destroy periodontal tissue.The cloned B cell that was introduced by antibody can produce IL-1(osteoclast activation factor).Its primary biological function is to destroy alveolar bone.And another cell factors correlative with periodontal diseases play important role in the beginning and development of periodontal diseases.This study set up periodontal diseases model in rats triumphantly and at the nonage,metaphase and anaphase the IL-1 was extrcted from periodontal tissues respectively.Then the content of IL-1 was mensurated by radiative immunoassay .The results indivated that at each period the content of IL-1 had obvious difference(P<0.05).This will make a academic and disquisitive foundation of embedded research on pathogeny of periodontal diseases and development and prognosis. Simultaneity,it was very necessary to search for means and medicament to control the development of periodontal diseases and to eliminate and annihilate nosogenetic fators.There were many domestic and overseas reports of that chitosan had the effect of restraining and annihilating some bacteria lately.But if it had the elimination to Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitas(Aa.) that was one of the major nosogenesis bacteria of periodontal diseases.This study provided a theoretics foundation on the pharmic research of chitosan treating periodontal diseases .The result of chitosan restrain Aa.experiment out-body was that the MIC and MBC were uniform, 0.1%.
