| ATZ-216 is a kind of compound, which is extracted from szechwan lovge rhizome, lobed kudzurine root, safflower, hawthorn fruit, and other Chinese medicinal herbs. It contains various effective components that may act on multiple sites. In this paper, the protective effect of ATZ-216 on myocardial ischemia-reperfution injury in rats and its mechanism were studied.Results were showed as follows:1. Effect of ATZ-216 on myocardial ischemia-reperfution injury(1) ATZ-216 (160mg kg-1) can significantly decrease the level of ST segment during myocardial ischemia-reperfution.(2) ATZ-216 (40, 80, 160mg kg-1) can significantly decrease the level of myocardial enzyme in serum of myocardial ischemia-reperfution rats.(3) In addition to decrease the aggregation of polymorphonuclear cell in the ischemia area, ATZ-216 (40, 80, 160mg kg-1) can significantly and dose-dependently decrease the size of myocardial infarction.2. The mechanism of ATZ-216 anti-myocardial ischemia-reperfution injury(1) ATZ-216 (40,80,160mg kg-1) can significantly and dose-dependently clear away free radical and posse the action of anti-oxidation.(2) ATZ-216 (40, 80, 160mg kg-1) can significantly decrease the secretion of TNF-a and IL-8.3. Effect of ATZ-216 on blood platelet aggregationATZ-216 (40, 80, 160mg kg-1) can significantly and dose-dependently inhibit blood platelet aggregation.As above, ATZ-216 play a protective role on myocardial ischemia-reperfutioninjury via decrease aggregation of polymorphonuclear cell, cleaning of free radical and anti-oxidation, decrease of secretion of TNF- β and IL-8 and inhibition of blood platelet aggregation. |
