Objective To probe the relativity between helicobacter species and primary hepatic carcinoma. Methods The DNAS from the sectioned liver tissue of 15 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma and 10 patients without hepatic carcinoma ,respectively. The PCR was performed with the primers that are specific to Helicobacter species, and one amplicon was sequenced. Then the positive rate was compared with Exact Method. Results The amplicons of PCR were positive in 11 of 15 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma and 1 of 10 patients without primary hepatic carcinoma. The result of sequencing indicated that the amplicon was DNA of Helicobacter species. The differentiation of the positive rates of two groups is noted according to Exact Method(P<0. 05) .Conclusion The infection of Helicobacter species is related to primary hepatic carcinoma.
