Investigation And Analysis On Current Situation Of Environmental Education In Medical Nursing Major Of Advanced Professional College

With the rapid progress of economy, science and technology, environmental problem has been brought about severe influences on the continuable development of human being. In the review of this thesis, the theory of formation and development of environmental education as well as the latest research was introduced. The importance of carrying out environmental education and research was especially emphasized.According to the investigation in medical nursing major involved in environmental education like the present situation of teaching and the comprehensive qualities of students and teachers, it was found that some nurses were lack of the sense of environment, knew less about environmental policies and rules. Moreover, the need of improving teacher's knowledge of environmental science and renewing medical nursing lessons can be urgent.On the basis of analysis on the problems mentioned above, we therefore put forward some suggestions concerning environmental education such as: changing our opinions towards the education of medical nursing major; reform on the lesson set-up and exploiture of teaching materials; attention on teacher's further study; increase in financial support; more practice other than only classroom study. In addition, in answer to the government's call, "Green School" should be widely set up to meet the requirement of the continuable development of society.
