| Objective : To study the effect of medical abortion of early pregnant rats given Xue Li Ting on the frequency,amplitude and activities of the uteru' contractions of rat's uterus in vivo, nitric oxide(NO) and nitric oxide synthase NOS),thromboxane (TXA2),prostaglandlinl2(PGl2),prothrombintime(PT),activated partial thrombopladtin time(APTT) and to investigate mechanism of Xue Li Ting in treating uterine bleeding after medical abortion.Methods : Early pregnant rats were divided into six groups randomly. Such as control group,RU486group,large dose of Xue Li Ting group, Syntocinon group, Etamsylatum group. Different drugs were given from day 7 of gestation till day 14.Before death these aspects were determinded :the frequency ,amplitude and activities of the uterus' contractionsof rats uterus in vivo, NO and NOS of uterus homogenate;plasma PGI2,TXA2 and PT,APTT.Results : Compared with controls, the activities of theuterus' contractions of rats uterus in vivo, the frequency andamplitude were promoted significantly in rats given large doseof Xue Li Ting. Compared with RU486group,6-keto-PGF1a,PT and APTT were decreased significantlyin rats given large dose of Xue Li Ting.Conclusion : Xue Li Ting can increase the activities of therat's uterus' contractions, decrease the content of NO and NOSof uterus homogenate and by influencing the content of PGI2,TXA2 to activate instrinsic route and extrinsicroute,decrease PT and APTT. This may be responsible for thetreatment of bleeding after RU486 medical abortion. |
