Mechanical ventilators have the function of breathing when patients, because of diseases or injuries, are not capable of breathing efficiently on their own. The respirator signal monitor and control system plays an important role in monitoring the state of the patient. This thesis mainly concerns the research and realization of hardware platform and real-time inspecting software of respirator signal processing system.This paper mainly applies moderm digital signal processing (DSP) theory into respiration signal processing system, successfully completed the FFT algorithm based on DSP , from the result of FFT, the spectra of respirator signals can be clearly displayed. Through the spectral analysis, a digital filters are designed and its filtering effects of sampling data are tested detailedly . Finally, this paper develops a reasonable filtering methods adapt to resparation signals. This paper also develops a PEEP builder system . It can be put in a mechanical ventilator and make PEEP when necessary.First of all , the basic principles and techniques of airflow measurement are dissertated thoroughly. In the following, the design scheme of flow measurement method for ventilator signal processing system is analyzed and discussed detailedly, and its realization methods are also presented. For the core module of signal measurement and processing system梩he hardware platform, the circuit design and realization scheme is proposed, and the functional testing is done successfully. Finally, the design and implementation of real-time inspecting software based on hardware platform is discussed in detail.Through this research , the author develops a respirator signal monitoring and processing system, it can measure the respiration signalswell and truly, and fulfill the signal processing. It can also accord the user' s request to display the respirator state through LCD.This system using DSP as processor, together with its assembly language fullfill the software design. All the software and hardware were emulated with the Wintech simulator.
