Objective: To study the correlation of multidrug resistance protein P170 and active T cell in acute myeloblatlic leukemia(AML).Methods: Flow cytometer(FCM) was used in detection of the expression of P170 and active T cell in leukemic cells from 30 cases of AML patients. Results: the expression rates of P170 in relapsed or refractory AML wrer significantly higher than those in untreated AML,the expression of P170 in complete remission(CR) phase were significantly lower than those in relapsed or refractory phase, the CR rate of AMLwhich express P170 were significantly lower than those without expression of P170, the expression of CD8+CD25+ CD8HLA-DR+ T cell in AML were significantly higher thanthose in control cases, and the expression of CD8+CD25+, CD8+HLA-DR+T cell in refractory AML patients were higher than those in untreated AML. There is no significant Correlation between the expression of P170 and active T cell. Conclusion: P170 could be a marker which indicate the treatmental efficacy and prognosis of AML, the immune function of AML patients were lower than those of control cases, especially those with poor treatmental efficacy. There may be no derect correlation between the expression of P170 and immune function in AML patients.
