The Clinical Observation Of Modified Kidney-yin-tonifying Bolus In Treating Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

Objective: To study the probable mechanism of modified kidney-yin-tonifying Bolus in treating idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) of hyperactivity fire due to yin deficiency type.Methods: 50 cases with ITP were randomly divided into treatment group threated with modified kidney-yin-tonifying Bolus and the control group treated with An-tai-su pills orally. The parameters pf blood platelet G (PAIgG) and so forth were determined respectively before and after treatment. At the same time, the clinical symptoms, signs, tongue picture, pulse and so forth were inspected. Result: It was suggested that:(1) The total effective rate of modified kidney-yin-tonifying Bolus ameliorating the ITP suffers TCM clinical symptoms, which is superior to that of An-tai-su pills group(P<0.05). (2) The modified kidney-yin-tonifying Bolus increased the amount of blood platelet in serum of ITP suffers, which is superior to that of An-tai-su pills group(P<0.01). (3) The modified kidney-yin-tonifying Bolus reduced the amount of PAIgG of ITP suffers.Conclusions:It might be concluded that the modified kidney-yin-tonifying Bolus could increase the body's immunity,clear up the antibody of blood platelet, facilitate the elaboration of blood platelet through nourishing yin and tonifying the kidney, replenishing essence and nourishing marrow, so as to ameliorate the clinical manifestation of ITP suffers.
