In the clipping operation of aneurysm, rupture is the main cause of death and mutilation. In order to decease the chance of rupture, some ways are often used to reduce the pressure of aneurysm besides gentlly operate. The most common way we are using now to reduce the pressure of aneurysm is temporary interruption of the artery that carries the aneurysm. Even though this technic can decease the happen of bleeding, death, mutilation and profitable for operation, it bring us some new problem such as mural thrombus abscission, brain ischemia and ischemia-reperfusion injury. The study of these question can finally help us innovate this technic or definite the time-limitation of temporary interruption. We used gerbils to simulate the cerebral blood flow and microdialysis changes about ischemia and ischemia-reperfusion injury caused by temporary interruption of common carotid artery, comprehend the different damage caused by different way of interruption. Thus we provide theoretics reference for clinical treatment.
