| Objective: To observe and evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of Sheng-Mai injection in treating diastolic heart failure inpatients with syndromein asthenia of qi and yin and the influnce on left ventricular diastolic function.Methods:Random control was conducted . 61 DHF inpatients cases with syndromein asthenia of qi and yin were divided randomly into two groups. 30 cases in the control were treated with routine therapy including diuresis , vasodiation drugs and ACEI ;On this basement, 31 cases were treated with Sheng-Mai injection .After four weeks treatment ,evaluations were carried out by the means of Doppler echo cardiography before and after above treatment. Results:Comparing the indexes on Doppler echo cardiography-E, A, E/A, IVRT, of the treating group before and after treatment,we can find a significant difference.(P<0.05) Comparied the symptions , signs ,and the indexes of E, A, E/A, IVRT between the two groups , difference can was found . The treating group is superior to the control group.(P<0.05).Conclusion: The group used Sheng-Mai was effective in treating diastdic heart failure. It could effectively and significantly improve the symptions, signs and left ventricular diastolic function.
