Clinical Study On The Correlation Of Insulin Resistance And Diabetic Fatty Liver

Objective: To explore the relation between insulin resistance and diabetic fatty liver and to study the prophylaxis and treatment of diabetic fatty liver with Tang Gan Kang (TGK).Methods: l.FBS, P2hBS, TC, TG, HDL, LDL, FINS, P2MNS, bloodrheology of 126 diabetic patients(60 with fatty liver, 108 without fatty liver ) were determined and the IR, IAI, BMI were analyzed.2. Randomly ,60 diabetic fatty liver patients were divided into observation group and control group.The observation group patients were treated by TGK,and the control group patients were treated by Evening Primrose Oil and Jigan. After 60 days,the experimental indexs(FBS, FINS, P2hBS, P2MNS, HbAlC, TG, TC, HDL, LDL, IAL IR, BMI, ALT, AST, blood rheology) were compared to those in the beginning. Result: 1. IAI and HDL of the fatty liver group were significantly lower than that of the group without fatty liver, and TC, TG,, LDL, FINS, P2hINS, IR, BMI were significantly higher than that of the group without fatty liver.2. The total effectiveness rate of the TGK group is 86.7%,whereas that of the control group is merely 56.7%, after processed with statistical methods, there is significant difference. TGK can improve the clinical symptoms and physical signs of diabetic fatty liver and improve insulin resistance markedly. Conclusion: Diabetic fatty liver is closely related to insulin resistance.Improving insulin resistance is meaningful for the patients with diabetic fatty liver.2. TGK can improve insulin resistance markedly and it is a good recipe to treat diabetic fatty live.
