The Research In The Effect Of Yue Gan Capsule On Alcoholism Liver In Mouse

Objective To study the protective effect and mechanism of the Yue Gan Capsule on alcoholism liver in mouses. by the methods of histochemistry, transmission electron microscope(TEM), and biochemical measur ement. Method To divide mouses randomizly in to normal group, model group (56℃ alcohol, 14ml/kg/d), Dong bao gan tai group (0.8g/kg/d, alcohol, 14ml/kg/d ),large dose group of Yue Gan Capsule (20mg/kg/d, 56℃ alcohol, 14ml/kg/d), middle dose group of Yue Gan Capsule (10mg/kg/d, 56℃ alcohol, 14ml/kg/d), small dose group of Yue Gan Capsule 5mg/kg/d, 56℃ alcohol, 14ml/kg/d), continuously 5 weeks. and biochemically analyse ALT,TG,SOD and MDA. and his to chemically observe SDH,ACP, methods of oil red"0" revealed neutral fat and observation of transmission electron microscope. Results In injured group, ALT activity and TG, MDA content were increased SOD wasdecreased (P<0.05). Yue Gan Jiao Nang Capsule restrain the ALT activity decrease the content of MDA and TG, increase SOD activity (P<0.05). According the observation of histochemistry and ultrastructure, it showed that SDH activity was decreased , ACP activity was increased, drops of fat increased, the mitochondrion swelling and become deformed, crest breaking, in addition ,it showed that there were different size ,unegual amount vacuole of fatty drops and alcohol bodys of filar form .in cytoplasm. Yue Gan Capsule alleviated denatured degree above. Conclusion Yue Gan Capsule had protective effects on alcoholism liver injury in rats. Its protective mechanism may have relation with Its promotion of liver metabolism.Anti-free radical and anti-lipid peroxidation.
