| In recent years, more and more researchers have paid attention to the renal toxicity of Akebia stem (Aristolochia manshuriensis Kom), and miraculous progress have been obtained in diffierent fields. Dosage and presceription-compounding can influcence the renal toxicity of Akebia stem. This subject aimed at observing different dose and different Chinese herb in Fire-Inducing Powder influcing on the renal toxicity of Akebia stem in the experimental way exerting on animals. Obersavation index includes survival ratio, inprovement in renal function, pathological study in renal tissue. The results show that the renal toxicity of Akebia stem can be enhanced as dose of Akebia stem has been increased; Renal function and renal lesion can be inproved remarkably after combined use of dried rehmannia root (Rehmannia dride Rhizome), or combined use of Bamboo leaf (Common lophantherum Herb) and Akebia stem. Large dose of Licorice root (glycyrrhizia) can probably make the renal toxicity of Akebia stem versly. Therefore, the conclusion can be made that the dose of Akebia stem should be restricted, and dried rehmannia should be the principle drugs in Fire-Inducing Powder. This subject verified that prescription-compounding had an vital influence on toxicity in the experimental way, and it gives information for clinic. |
