Abstract/Summary:
Part I Restriction Endonuclease Pattern of pR$T98 in Multi-resistant Salmonella typhiThe R plasmid (pRsi98 ) in multi-resistant Salmonella typhi was digested by eight restriction endonucleases(EcoR I?BamHI, Hindlll, EcoR V, Bgl II, Pst I , Sal I and Hinc II) .The results showed that by endonucleases Bgl IK Hinc IK EcoR V $3 Pst I , *we could get some identical restriction fragments}and they were suitable for molecular analysis of pRsT98 and further research. The restriction endonuclease pattern of pRsi98 provided an important molecular marking in genetic characteristic, epidemiological tracing and the location of the functional genes of the plasmid.
