The study trend of Ectopic Pregnancy (EP) with the use of traditional Chinese and Western medicine was synthetically analyzed in the dissertation. Based on the fact that the outcome of EP must lead to intra-abdominal hemorrhage (IH), and the syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine holds that blood stasis is the centre of the disease, the author established the mice IH models through the method of injecting intraperitoneal self-blood, and treated them with Extrauterine Pregnancy II (EPII) decoction, so as to discuss the mechanism of EP.In the experiment, the author has observed the effects of EPII decoction on the contents of red blood corpuscle (RBC), macrophage (MC), neutrophil (N) in animal abdominal cavity, and has observed the pathological changes of the models and the therapy function of EPII decoction, then to discuss the treatment mechanism. The experimental results indicated that intra-abdominal hematoma, adhesion, inflammation could be caused by IH, even to form abscess, and could be improved by the treatment. EPII decoction can promote the function of monocytic MC series and improve the phagocytosis capacity, then intraperitoneal hematoma can be resolved and absorbed. This is one of the main effects of this recipe. It has the trend of resuming the normal structure of tissue. Ithas also suggested that EPII decoction has the capacity of reducing the synthesis of collagenin fibroblasts, turning off proliferation of fiber connective tissue, softening organization so as to be absorbed easily and quickly, and it has anit-inflammatory effect. All these results indicated that EPII decoction was advantageous in the treatment of intraperitoneal hematoma, therefore it provided theory basis for clinical therapy.
