Along with the development of health enterprise and the change of medical model, even the applying of the holistic nursing care notion in clinic, the demands for nursing service are becoming more and more important. Therefore developing the quality of clinical nursing education and bringing up high quality nurses is an inevitable issue.Aims of the study: This paper aims to discuss the effectiveness of the communicating teaching model from the teachers' and the students' point of view respectively and examine the state of the nursing teachers and the students, then summarize the difficulties in clinical in order to offer some evidences for improving the construction of the nurse clinical organization.Methods: A questionnaire and tests and group interviews were utilized to collect data. The designed questionnaires were distributed to 86 clinical nursing teachers and 85 students in our hospital, the quizzes of nursing procedure and clinical nursing theory are comprised die test for 85 students. All the students and the teachers are divided into two groups, one is for this new teaching model, the other group is for the old teaching model. Six students and six teachers were interviewed. Data were analyzed by the statistical methods.Results:1 . The effectiveness for students of applying this teaching model is improving their go-aheadism, especially the development of the comprehensive nursing ability.2. For the clinical nursing teachers, the most important value is the increasing of the teaching conception and consciousness.3. Though there are many advantages in the communicating teaching model, at the present time, there are also some difficulties in clinic. The main problems encountered by clinical teachers were deficiency hi time and energy for teaching, Lacking some relative knowledge and skills for this teaching model is also in the line, such as the interviewing skill, clinical teaching theory and psychology.Conclusions: Both teachers and students valued the communicating teaching model is a very effective and efficient way to cultivate the nursing students compared with the old teaching model. Analyzing the pros and cons of this teaching model and the results of this research, the state of clinical nursing teacher team and the difficulties for spreading this teaching model in clinic can offer some very valuable evidences for the manager of the hospital and the nursing school.
