The apoB and D17S30 ]S an important marker to measure the value of genetic marker system in the study of anthropology and has high polymorphism. Using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR),the variable numbers of tandem repeat (VNTR) of apoB, D17S30 locus were studied in Koreanæ¡Ÿhinese and han nationality of Yanbian.There had a significant difference (P< 0. 05) in total distribution of allele frequencies of apoB and D17S30 locus between the Koreanæ¡Ÿhinese and Han nationality of Yanbian. The heterozygosity, polymorphism information content (PlC) and individual identification of the apoBand D17S30 were all greater than 0. 7. The results indicates that: (1) the distribution of allele frequencies of apoB and D17S30 locus has the better polymorphism in Koreanæ¡Ÿhinese and Han nationality of Yanhian; (2) that are suitable for individual identification and paternity diagnosis; (3) that has the extensive use value for studying the origin of nationality, transition, national distinction and genetic relationship among every nationality.
