| Brain senility is a chronic retrograde affection of brain action, including brain atrophy. With the development of aged society , pathologic change caused by brain senility such as dysnoesia, agnosia behavior disorder hazard the physical and soul a heavy load.In the research we adopted brain senility model which induced by D-semigalactose. This experiment method has been recognized by many scholar in the world. Through the experiment we surveyed the therapeutic action by Dihuang Yinzi comparing with Vitamin E. The result indicates: Dihuang Yinzi can enhance the activity of SOD in tissue homogenate of kidney and brain, drop the content of MDA which is the catabolic during lipid peroxidetion and improve the metabolismoism of brain. This medicine also improve mice s faculty of memory, lower the activity of acetylcholin esterase, reduce the injury of hippocampal gyrus neuron and cure the brain senility.The results showed the therapy of tonifying the kidneyreplenishing essence, eliminating phlegm for resuscitation is a effective method of treating brain senility. |
