Studies On The Tactitics Of Sustainable Development On Maize Seeding In Northwest China

The corn is one of the greatest crops in the world and plays a vital role in the crop production both at home and abroad. As for corns, the chief factor of high output is the seeds with excellent qualities. Therefore, seed production is very important. The production of seeds is like that of crops, but the value of excellent seeds is much higher than crops'. So there must be some special requirements for seed production. Firstly, the input of the land used to produce seeds is much more than that of the general land for growing crops; secondly, the purpose of seed production is to get the original seeds with heredity bases; thirdly, the land used to produce seeds must be chosen carefully and also the production environment must be uniformity in order to screen out bad seeds; fourthly, factors, such as seed sales progresses and labor using and so on, must be considered during the seed production.In this article, the author uses many different ways, including literature collections, classifying, combining with typical investigation and combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. And he also takes the representative production bases, like Hefeng City of inner Mongolia province, Hexi corridor of Gansu province and the northern part of Xinjing province, as the article backgrounds. Also, the author analyses problems existing at those main areas by investigating present states of environment, input and output and quality guarantee in each production base. Understanding is not in place; technical system is not perfect, need to be strengthened and improved; publicity is not enough, the base access, quality detection system is not perfect; base of production to be improved policy environment; poorly educated rural labor force, but also need to be improved. At last, he also puts out strategies to realize the sustainable development of the corn seed production at this area. The strategies are as following:strengthen the standard management at bases of corn seed production; optimize area layout, stabilize production area; change cultivate system, adjust growing structure; strengthen the research of optimizing production technologies, set up the standardized system for seed production;set up the disaster alarming system, improve abilities of predicting and controlling, reduce production risk;make out strategies for developing talents at seed production; enhance innovation and development of seed production;explore industrialized managing models; promote basic changes on production methods; keep on implementing preferential policies, improve the developing environment;organize and found seed society, enhance industry's self-discipline, develop market together; do well in experiments of species introduction, plan scientifically, rationally distribute; popularize advanced technologies, reduce pollution of pesticide;...
