Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) is the feature oil crop of Henan province, with the planting area, trade quantity and total yield always being the first in China, and it plays a decisive role in the sesame production of China. However, some problems, such as lack of high disease-resisted cultivars, low and unsteady yield, with lower level of industrialization and lower coverage rate of high quality seeds, lower popularization of culture techniques about high quality and high yield, smaller development of industrialization and with lower benefit, always exist in the sesame production of China. For these reasons, the breeding progress of new excellent sesame cultivar Luozhi 18 was introduced in detail, and the effects of different culture techniques as well as their matched stacks on yield and quality of Luozhi 18 were systematically studied in this paper, and the results were showed as follows:1. The effect of fertilizer on the sesame yield ranks:NP>N>K>P. In high yield field which sesame yield can reach to 1110.0 kg/hm2, the optimal amount of N, P2O5 was 106.5,52.5 kg/hm2; in medium-yield field which sesame yield can reach to 1 011.0 kg/hm2, the optimal amount of N, P2O5 was 129.0,117.0 kg/kg/hm2; in low-yield field which sesame yield can reach to 759.0 kg/hm2, the optimal amount of N, P2O5 was 147.0,64.5 kg/hm2. In many fertilizer ways, using basal fertilizer and after manure 2 times was the best ones, whose yield was 34.2% and 34.8% higher than CK respectively; the range of increasing production using foliar fertilizer was 7.7%~10.4%, in which KH2PO4 and Boron Fertilizer were better than others.2. The culture mode④was the best one among the four culture modes, because of its highest yield and best yield characteristics, its highest disease and lodging-resisted, and its highest economic benefit. Its yield is 1914.0 kg/hm2, increasing yield 306.4% compared with CK.
