Water is an important ecological factor to the yield, both drought and waterlogging can cause the cut. Four peanut genotypes with different drought and waterlogging tolerance of yield in the field were subjected Changes of organs of the fresh weight, root/shoot ratio changes, root vigor, SOD activity and MDA content of seeding and blooming stage of peanut under drought and waterlogging stress is analysed to screen the differences of drought and waterlogging tolerance among different genotypes. Then its mechanism is clarified, and a series of index for drought and waterlogging tolerance is established. The results of this study as follows:1. Better drought-resistance genetypes have higher root/hoot ratio, root vigor, SOD activity, but MDA content has lower rise. Better waterlogging-resistance genetypes have higher root/hoot ratio, root vigor, SOD activity, but MDA content has lower rise.2. Hua 55 and Zhonghua 8 have better drought-resistance, Yuhua 15 and zhonghua 4 have poorer drought-resistance in seeding stage. Yuhua 15 and Zhonghua 8 have better waterlogging-resistance, Hua 55and zhonghua 4 have poorer waterlogging-resistance in seeding stage. Hua 55 and Zhonghua 8 have better drought-resistance, Yuhua 15 and zhonghua 4 have poorer drought-resistance in blooming stage. Yuhua 15 and Zhonghua 8 have better waterlogging-resistance, Hua 55and zhonghua 4 have poorer waterlogging-resistance in blooming stage. Synthesis that, Hua 55 and Zhonghua 8 have better drought-resistance, Yuhua 15 and Zhonghua 8 have better waterlogging-resistance.3. As different genetypes have different drought and waterlogging resistance. Selecting appropriate genetypes, planting according to local conditions and adjust the sowing date can avoid drought and waterlogging disasters on the peanut.
