| This study collected 550 silky fowls'eggs in four different regions of Xichuan. And then determined egg shape index, average egg weight, proportion of green eggshells and rate of hatch for silky fowl egg. Chicken after hatching were feed by regular Feeding Management. later determining body weight, body rule index, fitting growth curve per week(0-16weeks). The part of tested chickens(16 week-old) were butchered for measuring carcass quality. And the female silky fowls were surveyed laying law and egg quality. We studied Xichuan black-bone silky fowl primitive resources group and germplasm resources trait by considering egg quality, growth state, carcass quality and laying law. Following as:Trial 1: Egg weight ,egg shape index ,the distribution of eggshell color and hatch rate of the Eggs of xichuan black-bone silky fowlsEgg weight ,egg shape index and the proportion of green eggshell of 550 xichuan black-bone silky fowls eggs were analysed and determined. The results showed that average egg weight , egg shape index and the proportion of green eggshell were 47.17, 1.286, 46.5%,respectively. And then 550 xichuan black-bone silky fowls eggs were hatched.the hatch rate was 59.97%,furthermore,the proportion of silky fowls was 37.63%.Trial 2: The fitting of growth curves in Xichuan black-bone silky fowls from 0 to16 week-old.The growth curves of Xichuan black-bone silky fowl from 0 to16 week-old were analyzed and fitted with three kinds of non-lineared models. The results indicated that the body weights of Xichuan black-bone silky fowls in region were significant greater than in A,B,D region(P<0.05). In the whole growth period,Xichuan black-bone silky fowls had a low growth rate during pre-two weeks.However,they got highest growth rate in 10 to 12 weeks,then be lower than before. The growth curves could be fitted very well by logistic model ,Gompertz model and Von Bertalanffy model for Xichuan black-bone silky fowls (R~2 reach up to 0.996). The spinodal week-old of Xichuan black-bone silky fowls in C region(9.63,9.32,9.87)appearance all preceded the other regions in the three models.Similarly, their spinodal body weight and the largest week-weight gain.Von Bertalanffy model parameter estimation value A were corresponding higher than logistic model ,Gompertz model.Thus, Von Bertalanffy model was considered to be the best model to fit growth curves of Xichuan black-bone silky fowls.Trial 3: The carcass quality of male and female xichuan black-bone silky fowlsThe results indicated that except for liver weight, semi-eviscerated weight,muscular stomach weight in the adult male were higher than in the adult female,the other indexs in the male were lower .According to the data analysis, the difference of dressing weight,the rate of dressing weight,semi-eviscerated weight, eviscerated weight ,breast muscle weight and thigh muscle weight in the male and female were significant(P<0.05).But the rates of semi-eviscerated weight, eviscerated weight, breast muscle weight , thigh muscle weight and the weights of heart,liver, pancreas, spleen,muscle stomach in the male were not significantly different with the female (P>0.05).The difference of moisture, protein contents of breast and moisture content of thigh between male and female silky were significant(P<0.05).and dry matter of muscle and thigh fat between them were extremely significant deviation ( P < 0.01 ) .On the contrary,moisture of breast and fat of thigh in the male and female had not notable variance.Trail 4: Laying law and egg quality of Xichuan black-bone silky fowlLaying law and egg quality of Xichuan black-bone silky fowl are studied. The results showed that eggs of 21-29 week-old silky fowls laying gradually increase, reach high yield peak at 29th week-old, later gradually decrease, and laying rate fluctuate from 20% to 25% after 32 week-old.The average egg weight, egg shape index and yolk chroma are 47.425g, 1.2847, 10.35,respectively. |
