Study On The Application Of Aquatic Plants In Eutrophic Water Of Nanjing

Firstly, this paper investigates the eutrophication status of city water, the resources and application status of aquatic plants in Nanjing. The investigation shows that the eutrophication situation of city water in Nanjing is very serious, the species of applied aquatic plants are fewer, the arrangement form of hydrophytes community also have many problems, such as lacking of aesthetics and harmony with the nature of habitat. At the same time, the investagation also shows that the relationship between the eutrophication situation of the water and the abundance of hydrophytes community is very strong. The paper recommend some aquatic plants which has potential of application based on the investigation and analysis.Secondly, this paper choose three kinds aquatic plants include Herba Saururi Chinensis, Hydrocleys nymphoides and Hydrilla verticillata that have a good application potential were tested for the ablity of eutrophication purification and also compared with Iris pseudacorus which already has a good application states,the purification ablity and landscape impression of the combinations of tested plants were also researched in this paper. The experiment showed that the tested plants all have strong purification capacity, and the plants combinations have a stronger purification ablity and they are more beneficial for create aboundant landscape of aquatic plants. The results of the experiment provid a theory gist for the application of tested plants in water landscape.According to the above conclusions, we found that the water landscape of Nanjing city has a large optimization space, and the tested plants both have good view and purification effect. Through discussing the basic principles that should be followd when take some optimization and arrangement work of aquatic plants, this paper proposed some specific optimization programs of typical water landscape in Nanjing city based on the investigation and experiment work.This paper hope to provide some instructions for the optimization of water landscape in Nanjing and other cities.
