With the development of rural economy, further adjustment of agricultural structure, as well as increased demand of high-quality fruit trees in domestic and international markets, the proportion of fruit trees planting in Fujian Province showed an increasing trend year by year, but so far, provincial fruit trees (longan, litchi, loquat, olive) land suitability evaluation and comprehensive regionalization information implemented into geographical space was lacked and there were also many problems, such as irrational layout of development and planting and low intensification of fruit trees land during the development process, so carrying out provincial fruit trees (longan, litchi, loquat, olive) land suitability evaluation and regionalization is of great significance to give full play to ascendancy of regional natural resource, adjust and optimize the regional scale and distribution of fruit production, achieve high yield and quality of fruit trees, and enhance economic, social and ecological comprehensive benefits of fruit trees land use. Therefore, in this study, based on the elements of land and site conditions of fruit trees, according to theory about land suitability evaluation and system coordination, taking advantage of mathematical models and integration with GIS technology, based on suitability evaluation of regional fruit trees (longan, litchi, loquat, olive) land, regionalization of fruit trees (longan, litchi, loquat, olive) land of Fujian Province was conducted. The results showed that:1. The total area of land resources suitable for planting longan in Fujian Province is 674376.26 hm2, accounting for 7.11% of the total area of land resources and 20.42% of the total area of evaluation land, indicating that land resources which is suitable for planting longan is relatively insufficient. Land area which is highly, moderately and generally suitable for planting longan accounts for 24.22%, 64.42% and 11.36% of the total area suitable for planting longan, respectively. This indicates that the provincial land resources suitable for planting longan is relatively poor, most of which is moderately suitable land. It has obvious advantages in the number of land resources suitable for planting longan in Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, which accounts for 72.71% of the total area of the provincial land resources which is suitable for planting longan area. Land which is highly suitable for planting longan mainly distributes in Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, which accounts for 92.82% of the total land area highly suitable for planting longan in the whole province. The total area of land resources suitable for planting litchi in Fujian Province is 294991.90 hm2, accounting for 3.11% of the total area of land resources and 11.08% of the total area of evaluation land, indicating that land resources which is suitable for planting litchi is relatively insufficient also. Land area which is highly, moderately and generally suitable for planting litchi accounts for 34.93%,50.79% and 14.27% of the total area suitable for planting litchi, respectively. This indicates that the provincial land resource suitable for planting litchi is relatively rich. The total area of land suitable for cultivation of litchi in Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Fuzhou accounts for 84.12% of the total land area suitable for planting litchi in Fujian Province. Land which is highly suitable for planting litchi mainly distributes in Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, which accounts for 91.73% of the total land area highly suitable for planting litchi in the whole province. The total area of land resources suitable for planting loquat in Fujian Province is 4594414.71 hm2, accounting for 48.48% of the total area of land resources and 48.48% of the total area of evaluation land, indicating that land resources which is suitable for planting loquat is relatively sufficient. Land area which is highly, moderately and generally suitable for planting loquat accounts for 47.50%,45.78% and 6.72% of the total area suitable for planting loquat, respectively. This indicates that the provincial land resource suitable for planting loquat is relatively high-quality. The total area of land suitable for cultivation of loquat in Longyan, Nanping, Sanming, Zhangzhou, Fuzhou, Ningde, Quanzhou and Putian accounts for 99.43% of the total land area suitable for planting loquat in Fujian Province. Land which is highly suitable for planting loquat mainly distributes in Longyan, Sanming, Zhangzhou, Fuzhou, Nanping, Quanzhou and Ningde, which accounts for 96.37% of the total land area highly suitable for planting loquat in the whole province. The total area of land resources suitable for olive cultivation in Fujian Province is 691112.98 hm4, accounting for 7.29% of the total area of land resources and 17.09% of the total area of evaluation land, indicating that land resources which is suitable for olive cultivation is relatively insufficient. Land area which is highly, moderately and generally suitable for planting olive accounted for 24.31%,62.64ï¼…and 13.05% of the total area suitable for planting olive, respectively. This indicates that the provincial land resource suitable for planting olive is relatively poor-quality, most of which is moderately suitable land. The total area of land suitable for olive cultivation mainly distributes in the Taiwanese coast, which accounts for 86.31% of total area of land resources suitable for olive cultivation in Fujian Province. Land which is highly suitable for planting olive mainly distributed in Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, which accounts for 93.95% of the total land area highly suitable for planting olive in the whole province.2. The total growing area of longan is 570883.41hm2, which accounts for 84.65% of total longan growing area of land suitable for cultivation in Fujian Province. And the priority, sub-priority and general planting area accounts for 14.98%,55.27% and 9.75% of the total area of longan cultivation of land division, respectively. Zhangzhou City has the advantages in the priority, sub-priority and general planting area, and it should be the key area of longan cultivation of land development. The priority development areas should be located in Pinghe, Zhangpu, Longhai, Nanjing, Changtai and Zhao'an of Zhangzhou. The sub-priority development areas should be located in Zhangzhou Zhao'an, Pinghe, Zhangpu and Yunxiao, Nan'an of Quanzhou, Putian County.
