A field experiment was conducted to study the effects of different light qualities film on physiological characteristics and quality of peanut. The results showed that the tint of light quality film could increase chorophyll, photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, water use efficiency and stomata conductance in spring. The application of white film could increase chorophyll, photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, water use efficiency and stomata conductance in autumn. SOD activity in the leaves was higher under dark film than that under other light qualities film, while the activity of POD was lower than that under others in spring. SOD activity in the leaves was lower under tint film than that under other light qualities film, while the activity of POD was higher than that under others in spring. SOD activity in the leaves was higher under comparison than that under other light qualities film, while the activity of SOD was lower under green film than that under others in autumn. POD activity in the leaves was lower under blue film than that under other light qualities film, while the activity of POD was higher under yellow film than that under others in autumn. 100-pod weight, 100-kernel weight, kemel rate and yield of spring peanut was higher under white film than that under other light qualities film, secondly under yellow film. The percentage of sound pod, 100-kernel weight and yield of autumn peanut was higher under yellow film than that under other light qualities, secondly under white film. The protein of spring peanut was higher under green film than that under other light qualities, secondly under white film, which was lower under purple film than that under others. The fat of spring peanut was higher under blue film than that under other light qualities film, secondly under white film, which was lower under green film than that under others. The ratio of oleic acid and linoleic acid(O/L) of spring peanut was higher under yellow film than that under other light qualities film, secondly under comparison, which was lower under blue film than that under others. There was no significant difference in the vitamin C contents of spring peanut under different light qualities film. The vitamin C of autumn peanut was higher under white film than that under other light qualities film, secondly under yellow film, which was lower under comparison than that under others. The fat of autumn peanut was higher under white and blue film than that under other light qualities film, which was lower under comparison than that under others. There were no significant difference for the contents of protein and the ratio of oleic acid and linoleic acid(O/L) of autumn peanut under different light qualities film.
