| Lantian 1 is an elite wheat cultivar with high temperature resistance to stripe rust In high temperature (20 - 22℃), seedings of Lantian 1, susceptible cultivar Mingxian 169 and their cross combinations were tested with seven dominant races (or single spore strains) of Puccinia striiform s f. sp. tritici in China. L The genetic analysis of Chinese spring and N.Strampelli resistance to stripe rust at adult stage was investigated in field. The results are as follows:1. Lantian 1 was tested with prevalent stripe rust races CYR29, CYR30, CYR31, CYR32, CYR33, Sun11-4 and Sun11-11 , all of which were resistance to stipe rust races.The F2 progeny from crossed Lantian 1 with susceptible cultivar Mingxian169 were tested with CYR32. The Lantian 1 resistance to race CYR32 was controlled by one dominant gene. It was temporarily named YrLT1.Five SSR markers on the chromosome arm 2DL were were found linked to YrLT1. The SSR markers were Xbarc228,Xcfd16,Xcfd233,Xgwm349 and Xwmc797 and their genetic distances from YrLT1 were 4.0cM,5.7cM,8.5cM,13.4cM and 15.5cM, respectively. The closest markers Xbarc228 and Xcfd16 linked to YrLT1 was not screened in the 42 wheat cultivars from Huang-huai wheat grown area.2.It showed that Chinese Spring expressed good high-temperature resistance to disease in the adult stage. The resistance to CYR29 or CYR30 was controlled by two recessive genes dependently or overlappedly. The resistance to CYR32 was controlled by one recessive gene.3.The adult-plant resistance of N.Strampelli to yellow rust was investigated. The results are as follows: The resistance to CYR31 controlled by one dominant genes. The resistance to SUN11-11 was controlled by one recessive gene and one dominant gene dependently or overlappedly. |
