Biological activities of secondary substance from Xanthium sibiricum on Plutella xylostella were studied. The different components were isolated from X sibiricum by using active tracking methods,and highly active compounds were further separation, purification and biological testing. Antifeedant, oviposition deterrent activity of highly active ingredients were studied on lavae of P. xylostella, and choice of trending action of the P. xylostella adults were recorded. Finally, the chemical composition of highly active components were analyzed by GC /MS technology. The main findings are as follows:(1)The extraction,separation and activity tracking test of secondary substance from Xanthium sibiricumExtracted by Soxhlet extraction Xanthium,will be the methanol extract of Xanthium extraction with chloroform,on Xanthium extracts were separated by column chromatography to obtain crude extracts of five fractions,Antifeedant activity assay of crude extracts was found in the concentration of 0.1mg/ml four components, the activity against Plutella up 81.29 percent, far more than other components.Determined using crude extracts of the adult moth's oviposition activity measured four components of the crude Oviposition activity was 63.65%, other components are at 37%or less. Active tracking results show that Xanthium extracts, the highest activity of crude fractions 4(2) the active component of Xanthium further separation,purification and biological activity determinationComponent 4 will be conducted a number of column chromatography and recrystallization in 12 fractions obtained crystallization method using leaf butterfly activity test,results found: fraction 10 and fraction 11 antifeedant activity and oviposition activity was significantly higher than other fractions of Plutella activity with the increase of concentration,while the other fractions of antifeedant was no significant features of the test when the concentration of 0.1mg/ml antifeedant rate were 79.78%and 82.15%. In the diamondback moth oviposition activity of selective determination, fraction 11 was the best, 24h,48h,72h of oviposition rate was 87.03 percent,75.75 percent, 68.79 percent, the study found that oviposition activity effect gradually decreased with time. Fraction 11 and fraction 10, the biological activity lasted significantly longer than that of azadirachtin.(3) Xanthium active fractions affect the behavior of the diamondback mothY-olfactometer used to test active fractions of the diamondback moth adults Xanthium behavior choice of trend was found:fraction 10, fractions 11 and Azadirachtin on the unmated female and male moth has a significant negative trend role in the control group the difference was very significant, which did not sire selection coefficient of diamondback moth azadirachtin minimum, up to 19.72%, composition 11, reached 24.17%, not mating female diamondback moth The relative selectivity coefficient of 11 fractions of the highest, reaching 23.89%. Unmated male, female moths, mating female moths on the choice of 10 fractions of coefficients were 28.06%,25.56%,29.44%, and 11 are very similar fractions. Moth relative to other fractions selection coefficient is not obvious.
