Crop pests and diseases are often subject to attack, resulting in reduced production of crops and even crops. Spraying pump is the main working component of spray machine, and directly impacts on the mechanical properties of spray machine. Gear pump as a basic hydraulic pump, have the advantages of simple structure, low cost and long service life, is the factors which contribute to the widely used in mining mechanics, engineering mechanics,metallurgical equipment, construction mechanics, agricultural and forestry machinery etc. fields.In this paper, the subject of External spraying gear-pump is the object of study, combined with CAD/CAE computer technology, finite element analysis and optimization to the existing spraying gear-pump:(1) First treat the existing gear-pump through the reverse design ,and get the measurement of eometric dimention of gear-pump, using three-dimensional solid modeling software Por/E of the parametric modeling capabilities, drawing every three-dimensional geometric part model of the spraying gear-pump, and building the three-dimensional assembly model of spraying gear-pump.(2) This paper gives a brief introduction of finite element method and the basic theory of finite element contact problems. with flexible body and flexible body contact model, analysis the non-linear contact stress on the contact model of spraying gear-pump by ANSYS finite element analysis software, gained the Equivalent contact stress cloud pictures and the equivalent spray cloud pictures of spraying gear-pump,view the gear pairs of stress and strain distribution.(3) Calculating the contact stress of spraying pump, using Hertz contact theory and GB3480-83 involutes cylindrical spur gear carrying capacity method. And compared with the numerical solution of finite element analysis by ANSYS software, verify the design, selection of rationality and the reliability of finite element analysis.(4) spraying gear pump gear shaft was constrained modal analysis, gear shaft in the actual working state of the main modes for the bending vibration, torsional vibration, axial vibration and radial vibration; And the results are much higher than the natural frequency of the driving gear shaft vibration frequency, it will not cause resonance.(5) The main drawbacks of gear-pump are unbalanced hydraulic pressure, short bearing using life, higher flow pulsation and pressure pulsation, noise higher. This article researchs the non-linear optimization of pulse flow coefficient which is the objective function for the system based on the optimization toolbox of Matlab software, gets the optimize structural parameters of spraying gear-pump.
