The Chinese cabbages varieties 06J36,92S24 and 06J31 are provided by AF University's cabbage group as trial materials ,their seeds experience soaking treatment with agrobacterium. We made Chinese cabbage varieties (lines) as the main area, agrobacterium soaking as the deputy plot, the concentration of agrobacterium suspension as the deputy vice-plot, and adopting the resplit-plot design to research the effect of the germination of seeds treated with agrobacterium and seedling growth and development of Chinese cabbages.The results are obtained as below:1. The three materials without agrobacterium processing were compared, results showed that the variety 06J36's growth was the best, 92S24's is the second,06J31's is the weakest of all.2. The germination rate and the number of the seedling of the three materials by agrobacterium soaking the seeds were determined, the results showed that bacterial concentration and soaking time were negatively related to the germination rate, it showed significant negative correlation under the condition that bacterial concentration was OD=0.5 and 1.0; bacterial concentration and soaking time were negatively related to the number of the seedling. The three materials' ratio of seedling were the lowest, respectively 48%,42% and 34%,their rates of seedling emergence were less than 50% when bacterial concentration was OD=2.0 and soaking time was 2.0 h. The variety 06J36's stress of antibacterium was the strongest of all in seed germination ratio and ratio of the seedling.3.By measuring the rate of seed germination, seedling number to calculate the number of the absolute ratio of emergence, we draw three cabbage varieties for seed soaking optimumconditions for agrobacterium. The variety 06J36's optimum condition is OD=1.0/2.0 h,OD=2.0/0.5 h~1.0 h, the variety 92S24's optimum condition is OD=0.5/2.0 h,OD=1.0/1.0 h~2.0 h,OD=2.0/0.5 h~1.0 h and the variety 06J31's optimum condition is OD=0.5/2.0 h,OD=1.0/1.0 h~2.0 h,OD=2.0/0.5 h.4. Agrobacterium soaking had negative effect on the period of Chinese cabbage seedlings. agrobacterium soaking whose concentration was OD=0.5 had no impact on the three periods of three materials. 06J36's length of time of growing to pulling cross period, two and three leaves period would prolong one day when bacterial concentration was OD=2.0,soaking time was 2.0 hours.92S24's length of time of growing to pulling cross period, two leaves and three leaves period will prolong one day when bacterial concentration was OD=1.0,soaking time was 2.0 hours.06J31's length of time of growing to pulling cross period, two leaves and three leaves period will prolong one day when bacterial concentration was OD=1.0,soaking time was 1.0 hours or bacterial concentration was OD=2.0,soaking time was any. It can be seen that variety 06J36 has the strongest ability of anti-stress for agrobacterium suspension, 92S24 was the second and 06J31 was the weakest.5. Agrobacterium soaking has a negative effect on the growth and development of Chinese cabbages, that is, bacteria concentration and soaking time were negatively related to seedling fresh weight, the biggest leaf length and leaf width. The variety 06J36 has the strongest ability of anti-stress for agrobacterium stress than variety 92S24 and 06J31.6. Agrobacterium soaking increased the content of MDA of Chinese cabbages, that is, bacteria concentration and soaking time were positively related to the content of seedling MDA. The three varieties'MDA content reach the maximum when they were exposed to agrobacterium soaking in the concentration OD=2.0 and in the soaking time 2.0h. The variety 06J36 has the strongest ability of anti-stress for agrobacterium suspension than variety 92S24 and 06J31.7. Agrobacterium soaking reduced the content of chlorophyll of Chinese cabbages, that is, bacteria concentration and soaking time were negatively related to the content of seedling MDA. The variety 92S24 has the strongest ability of anti-stress for agrobacterium stress.
