In the veterinary clinic, pigs, sheep, cattle, horses, dogs and other animals, the clinical di gestive diseases accounted for about 30% of the total amount of disease, and loss of appetit e, indigestion, constipation, bloating, Ruminis, flaccid and other gastrointestinal symptoms, al most the majority of diseases in animals with or secondary. For the treatment of these symp toms, often used carbachol, neostigmine and other western medicine to be cholinergic, but to xic, so strong. Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine on the treatment of gastrointestinal d ysfunction has extensive experience in veterinary medicine and the rich source of side effect s and use in veterinary treatment of gastrointestinal disorders has been increasing attention. C hina to vigorously promote and promote the modernization of Chinese medicine, one of the important elements is the "process of traditional Chinese medicine preparation, in the traditio nal soup, powder, balls formulations based on the principles of Western medicine by the add ition of new formulations."To this end, we choose from"Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia" (2005 version 2) used in the primaries, the stomach class veterinary drug powder, to the corresponding granules w as prepared using rabbit intestinal tests, from 8 granules relative to the role of screening effi cacy of the best of a powder, granules will be screened for further processes, efficacy, toxic ity studies. This article is divided into five parts:First part of the stomach class veterinary formulation. In this study, "Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia" (2005 version 2) 8 used in the primaries, the stomach class veterinary drug powder, to the corresponding granules was prepared using rabbit intestinal tests, from 8 Gra nules in the role of screening efficacy relative to the best of a powder.. Heating the filtrate concentrated to about 500ml, natural cooling to room temperature. Volume of filtrate was added 40%,60%,80% ethanol, mix well, put it aside for 24h precipitation temperatur e. Filtration, the filtrate collected, will be made of pig health prescription drugs relative bul k density 1.62 of liquid extract. The results showed that the pig gastric emptyi ng in healthy mice, the role of particles on health is better than pigs loose.Part IV is Part particles pig health safety trials. (1) Pig Health particles acute toxicity t est:Through pre-test, the mice fed a maximum concentration of particles healthy pigs (7.06g /mL) and mice fed the maximum size affordable (0.4mL/10g). Ig 14d, the mice all survive d. Therefore, the particles can not be measured LD50, suggesting that the particles are relati vely safe. Further determination of the particles on the maximum tolerated dose in mice:Te st group dose per mice 0.4mL/10g pigs fed 7.06/mL Health particle concentration, the contro 1 group was given equal volume of distilled water, were administered three times at intervals of 6h. The results showed that, in the 14d consecutive observation, mice did not appear co nvulsions, tremors and other abnormal behavior, breathing, eating normal, freedom of movem ent, no death after administration of 14d. Pig Health particle maximum dose in mice was 0. 04mL/g×7.06g/mL×3×1000= 847.2g/kg, the equivalent of Veterinary Pharmacopoeia provides the maximum clinical dose scattered pig health to 127 times the amount of 6.67g/ kg. T he results showed that experimental group in general examination, blood parameters and orga n coefficient in each group compared with the control group, there was no significant differe nce (P> 0.05), showed no long-term toxicity of particles pig health.The fifth part is on quality standards for pig health Study. (1) General examination:Th e appearance of particles of pig health, size, moisture content, melting of an inspection are i n line with requirements. (2) Determination:HPLC detection of porcine established health G entiopicroside particles, method of content atractylenoideⅢ, made 5 batches of swine health particle samples.
