The experiment proceeded in agricultural technology station of hubei academy of agricultural sciences from2006 to 2008. the photosynthetic physiological characteristics,accumulation and distribution of dry matter,application to seedling substrate-raising and root-naked transplanting and the fiber quality characters of transgenic rol cotton H345 were studied by planting in field and laboratory analysis.the primary results of research are as follows:1.Grow CharactersAt the same circumstances, H345's growth was evident difference from H329 and H344 during seeding stage. Early maturity with fast growth rate; boll getting capability is strong, reasonable Boll Distribution, high rate of quality bolls, high Yield Potential and fine fiber quality. Conventional cotton 018 and H345 grew slowly from seeding stage to bud stage.After budding, their root family was thrive and the plant on the field improved fastly.They got slow during the period of vomit.Howerer, The amount of growth per day of H345 improved, as was showed thrive norish growth in were not evident difference in the number of buds and fruit the last period. There brunches during bud well, but H345 who had less buds and fruit branches than 018 during beginning of flower and thrive time of flower.2.Accumulation and distribution of dry matterThe rule of change of weight matter per plant of 018 and H345 was almost the same during the whole preceeding, Which was "s".Before bllosom, the weight of dry matter of the two kinds of cotton was not evident different. During flowering stage.The accumuments of dry matter of the two kinds of cotton were not same, it is shown that 018 who fell fastly had more accumument than H345.They had the same rule in norish growth and reproduction growth.With the growth of cotton, the rate of reproduction growth improved and the norish growth fell, it achieved need in different time. H345 showed difference during flowering time and the period of vomit, it's dry matter weight of reproduction organs and the rate surpassed 018.3.Photosynthetic charactersThe amount of Chlorophyll of H345 was heigher than 018 during bud and flowering stages, which fell quickly as the difference of heredity material .Their LAI were showed "s" , It is a character of heigh yield field.The change per day of Pn of the two cotton was same.They have two peaks, the first was higher than the second but there was no obvious difference between the two transgenic cotton. H345 and 018's Ci were opposed to Pn, The changment per day of Tr showed the tendeny which arised with Temperature. Tr fell during 12:00-14:00.4.Application to seedling substrate-raising and root-naked transplantingH345's seedlings raising-in-substrate contain much exaltation in the rate of seedlings emergence,height,the stem diameter,the fresh weight and transplant survival rate in comparison with 018+rooting agent+anti-transpiration agent and 018. The matrix seedlings transplant survival rate is lower than that of nutrition earthen bowl seedlings, while other aspects are better. The traditional raising-seedlings technique consume much more seeds and labor than seedlings with H345, and the production involves a higher degree of risk, the accumulation cost is higher too. By comparing with the traditional matrix seedlings H345 is much more labor-saving, so it is advantageous to the labor force shifting, and heighten the net output value.
