| In the present study,620 individuals of Jingwu quality duck from the third and fourth generations were selected for slaughter measurement and the breast and leg muscle samples were collected to evaluate their meat quality;the variance components and genetic parameters for slaughter traits(16) and muscle quality traits (26) of Jing wu quality duck were estimated by SPSS and Multi-Traits Derivative Free REstricted Maximum Likelihood method(MTDFREML).The results were as followed:1 The heritabilities of slaughter and meat quality traits in Jingwu quality duck.The heritabilities of BW,HdW,NW,LMP,BMP,SlW,HCCW,FCCW,BMW, SeW,FW,HtW,GW,AFW,LMW were moderate to high;ranged from 0.22-0.50.the ST has a low heritability,that is 0.08.In addition,the heritabilities of BMDL,BMFI,BMWHC,BMSV,BMpH30m, BMCL15m,PBMC,BMWBL,BME,BMV,BMpH24h,BMCR15m,BMCY15m were medium to high;ranged from 0.28 to 0.49.2 The genetic and phenotypic correlation between slaughter and meat quality traits in Jingwu quality duck.The genetic correlation between BW with HdW,NW,FW,GW,Sl.W,HCCW, FCCW,ST,BMW and SeW were 0.71,0.74,0.80,0.73,0.90,0.88,0.85,0.5,0.83, 0.79,respcetively.The genetic correlation between BMP and LrW,HdW,NW,FW, HtW,LrW,GW and LMP were 0.22,0.23,0.13,0.13,0.33,0.03,0.04,0.08, respectively.The values of phenotypic correlation coefficient between the body weight traits with these traits were lower than that of the genetic correlation,but in the same direction.The genetic correlation between BW and BMDL,BMFI,PBMC,BMWBL, BMWHC,BMSV,BMWBSV,BME and BMV were -0.14,0.15,0.12,-0.03,-0.13,-0.14, 0.13,-0.01,-0.10,respctively.And the genetic correlation were consistent with in phenotypic correlation.The genetic correlation of LMWHC,LMSV,LME,LMV,LMpH30m,LMpH24h, LMCL15m,LMCR15m and LMCY15m were -0.15,0.00,-0.02,-0.05,-0.04,0.16,-0.07, 0.06,respctively.The phenotypic correlation were consistent with the genetic correlation. |
