Corn silage has been widely used as roughage,the utilization of rice straw is very limited as roughage for diets especially Heilongjiang Province in north of china.The by-product of the rice how to utilize effective has become more practical significance along with the rice production improving in Heilongjiang province year by year.The ratio number of the mixture between them can exert associate effect maximize is the core content in the test.In this study,first of all make a digestion metabolism test with different mixture of corn silage and rice straw in vitro,after make in vivo degradation in rumen and production performance verification test for best mixture select coming to conclusion finally.Trial 1:Make gas production and digestibility of dry matter test to correlation analysis for single corn silage and rice straw,to verify the scientific and operational for equipment of gas production in vitro.This equipment device in accordance with the principle of Menke in vitro and combined with Mauricio et al(1999) Reading Pressure Technique(RPT) developed and improved rumen fermentation gas production system in vitro.The results proved that,the gas production in different time points and DM digestibility were positively correlated linear relationship between the corn silage and rice straw use this design and improved equipment,correlation coefficient is R~2=0.9604 and R~2=0.9711.Trial 2:Using this design and improved in vitro fermentation equipment made digestion metabolism test.The fermentation substrate is:0.4g compound feed add 0.6g roughage(corn silage and rice straw),the roughage composition ratio separated six mixture group by corn silage and rice straw,the ratio range is that 100:0(CS100),80:20(CS80),60:40(CS60),40:60(CS40),20:80 (CS20) and 0:100(CS0).Record the gas production,dry matter(DM) digestibility,pH, microbiological crude protein(MCP) generation,and volatile fatty acid(VFA) generation of 4,8, 12,24,24,48 hours point,and made a comprehensive assessment by multiple-factors associative effect index(MFAEI) from gas production,dry matter(DM) digestibility,pH,microbiological crude protein(MCP) generation,and volatile fatty acid(VFA) generation,conclude the best mixture.The test results show that:(1) the mixture group of CS80 and CS60 cumulative gas production of 48 hours difference was significant(P<0.05) compared with other combination groups,the gas production from high to low is CS80>CS60>CS100>CS40>CS20>CS0.(2) With the fermentation time increased,DM digestibility of the mixture group also increased in aspect of DM digestibility,the group CS80 DM digestibility difference was significant(P<0.05) compared with others combination groups at 48-hour point.(3) The microbiological crude protein (MCP) made a highest generation at 36-hour point,difference was non significant(P>0.05) in mixtures groups and the generation declined after 36-hour point.The group CS80 generation of MCP(P<0.05) compared with others combination groups compared with other combination groups at 48-hour point.(4) The volatile fatty acid(VFA) made a highest generation at 36-hour point in VFA generation on,later start decline,in the generation of total volatile fatty acid,the CS80 group difference was significant(P<0.05) compared with other combination groups;in the aspect of associative effect,the single-factors associative effect index(SFAEI) showed positive value in various index except of DM digestibility.The groups of CS80 and CS60 multiple-factors associative effect index(MFAEI) showed positive value,and others showed negative value, conclusion that,the group mixture of CS80 and CS 60 is the best combination between corn silage and rice straw.Trial 3:Select three good body condition sheep,body weight(35±3)kg and installation rumen fistula made rumen degradation test using select groups of CS80 and CS60 compared with control group by CS100.Measured the digestibility of dry matter(DM),crude protein(CP),neutral detergent fiber(NDF) and acid detergent fiber(ADF),analysis whether there exist or not associate effect for the select groups in digestibility.Test results show that,DM and CP showed negative value,NDF and ADF showed positive value in the single-factors associative effect index(SFAEI), the group of CS80 and CS60 showed positive value in multiple-factors associative effect index (MFAEI),same to digestion in vitro.Trial 4:Select six good body condition,body weight(30±3)kg,close milk yield of dairy goat, made production performance test using select groups of CS80 and CS60 compared with control group by CS100.Measured the milk yield,milk fat percentage,milk protein percentage,dry matter content that in the milk indexes at same time,to verify the selection groups.Test results show that, the milk yield and milk indexes difference was non significant(P>0.05) in mixtures groups CS80 and CS60 compared with control group by CS100,but have been enhanced and improved,validate the conclusion of the digestion metabolism in vitro and rumen degradation test further.According to the data from the experiment,conclude that:20~40%contains of rice straw in the corn silage roughage mainly can gain better effect of feeding.
