Studies On Traditional Chinese Medicine Perfusions To Treat Clinical Mastitis In Dairy Cows

Cow mastitis has great harm to dairy cow breeding industry.It reduces milk quantity and quality ,which make the great economic losses. Therefore, it is increasingly important how to effectively prevent and cure cow mastitis.In this experiment, through antibacterial test and orthogonal test,selected several Chinese herbal medicine which were sensitive to clinical mastitis pathogenic bacteria isolated from clinical mastitis cow in Harbin. The optimal traditional Chinese medicine composition was determined base on the rationale of the traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceutics.Clinical pharmacodynamics test and safe test of the nipple perfusion of the traditional Chinese medicine was made. Simultaneously,we detected the contents of SOD,MDA,NO,GSH-Px,LDH,T-AOC in whey before and after using medicine which could indirectly reflect the state of immune system and mammary gland repairtion of dairy cow.The studies showed that main pathogenic bacteria of clinical mastitis was Streptococcus mastitidis, Staphylococcusaureus and Escherichia coli. Seven Chinese medicinal herb(Dandelion, Heartleaf houttuynia herb,Ligusticum,and so on.) made up composition through antibacterial test ,orthogonal test and the theory of veterinarian. The perfusion of the traditional Chinese medicine was safety through safe test. The perfusion had good therapeutic action on clinical mastitis of dairy cow (effective rate100%,healing rate90.91%).The content of SOD,GSH-Px, T-AOC in whey after using drug was obviously higher than before (P < 0.05),and the content of MDA and NO in whey was significantly lower than before (P < 0.05), the content of LDH did not change significantly (P>0.05). The studies showed that the perfusion of the traditional Chinese medicines was a safe and good efficacy drug to clinical mastitis which could provide some beneficial attempt for purfusion of the traditional Chinese medicine to the application and development of stock farming.
